Hi, I’m Terry. Wife, mother, grandmother, artist, scientist and Bible teacher. I was wounded! A wound that was too big, too much! God knew, and pulled me really close. He told me “the truth would set me free”. He was gracious and patient as he walked with me to healing.
I tried to carry all of my hurt alone for over a decade! I was overwhelmed, struggling, and exhausted.
I finally realized I had to get help. I had to talk about what was going on in my life. I had to trust others to speak into my pain, to help me release the burden I was carrying. I had to take one step at a time to the life God intended for me.
I focused on what I needed. I found safe people who could help me heal. My relationships healed and I learned about me, the woman God created.
If you’re ready to stop doing life alone, to let God direct your journey, and to release that burden you’ve been carrying….this podcast is for you!
Take my hand….let’s walk down the road together. You’re worth it dear one!

Tuesday's Passion Week Reading is from Matthew 22-23:12. Jesus continues to teach and to respond to queries from the Sadducees and Pharisees who are trying to trap him with words.....spoiler alert....it doesn't work!!!
Terry also shares a bit about the "Woes" or charges Jesus brings against the Pharisees. He calls them hypocrites and blind guides. Chapters 24 and 25 are Jesus' overview of what his second coming will be like. I hope you'll find time to read these chapters before the week is out.
I will be posting scripture each day this week that align to what happened the final week of Jesus' life here on earth. Regular podcast releases will resume next Tuesday.

Terry shares a story about a damaged tree crashing in her yard to teach spiritual preventive measures for believers. When our roots are damaged or not fed, we may eventually be unable to stand under the weight of stress or the storms that come our way.
This episode aired on March 17…..St. Patrick’s Day. Terry also shared a bit about St. Patrick, who he was and what we know about his life. The words he wrote on his breastplate are included at the end of the show notes to further encourage you in your walk.
Scripture References:
I Peter 5:8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one
Ephesians 6:11-12 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

St Patrick’s Breastplate
Written centuries ago by St. Patrick, this is a profound and simple prayer for protection. We find ourselves returning to again and again:
I arise today Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity. Through belief in the threeness, Through confession of the oneness, Of the Creator of Creation.
I arise today Through the strength of Christ's birth with His baptism, Through the strength of His crucifixion with His burial, Through the strength of His resurrection with His ascension, Through the strength of His descent for the judgment of doom.
I arise today Through the strength of the love of cherubim, In the obedience of angels, In the service of archangels, In the hope of resurrection to meet with reward, In the prayers of patriarchs, In the predictions of prophets, In the preaching of apostles, In the faith of confessors, In the innocence of holy virgins, In the deeds of righteous men.
I arise today, through The strength of heaven, The light of the sun, The radiance of the moon, The splendor of fire, The speed of lightning, The swiftness of wind, The depth of the sea, The stability of the earth, The firmness of rock.
I arise today, through God's strength to pilot me, God's might to uphold me, God's wisdom to guide me, God's eye to look before me, God's ear to hear me, God's word to speak for me, God's hand to guard me, God's shield to protect me, God's host to save me From snares of devils, From temptation of vices, From everyone who shall wish me ill, afar and near.
I summon today All these powers between me and those evils, Against every cruel and merciless power that may oppose my body and soul, Against incantations of false prophets, Against black laws of pagandom, Against false laws of heretics, Against craft of idolatry, Against spells of witches and smiths and wizards, Against every knowledge that corrupts man's body and soul; Christ to shield me today Against poison, against burning, Against drowning, against wounding, So that there may come to me an abundance of reward.
Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left, Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise, Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me, Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me.

In this episode, Terry explores the powerful—and often hidden—beliefs we form about ourselves through life experiences. These “agreements” shape our decisions, relationships, and sense of safety. Using Scripture, neuroscience, and personal reflection, Terry invites listeners to examine whether their beliefs align with God’s truth—or if they’ve been living under a lie.
You’ll Learn:
What “agreements” are and how they form
Why beliefs often begin in early adolescence
How old agreements become automatic responses
Why some beliefs feel true—but aren’t biblical
A step-by-step process for breaking unhealthy agreements
How Scripture helps renew your mind and restore freedom
Key Scriptures:
Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
Proverbs 15:22 Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.
Matthew 7:7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Reflection Questions:
What do I believe about myself?
Where did that belief come from?
Does it align with Scripture?
What truth does God want me to agree with instead?
Key Takeaway:You cannot live in freedom if you are agreeing with a lie—but you can begin again today.
Listener Invitation:Share what God is asking you to do. Leave a comment or message so Terry can walk with you and pray with you.
